Vszerda 8K HDMI 2.1 Splitter

The Vszerda 8K HDMI 2.1 Splitter takes a single HDMI source and duplicates it across two displays. It is built for gamers and streamers who want identical 8K or high-refresh 4K output on two screens from a console, PC or media player. The unit requires a 5 V USB power supply, which is not included.

Mirror‑only duplication with EDID control

This splitter operates in mirror mode only; it cannot extend a desktop across two monitors. An EDID button lets you optimise the handshake for mixed‑resolution setups, such as one 8K@60 Hz display paired with a 4K@60 Hz panel. HDCP 2.3 compliance keeps protected content flowing.

48 Gbps bandwidth for 8K@60 Hz and 4K@120 Hz

The 48 Gbps data rate carries 8K@60 Hz 4:2:0 10‑bit and 4K@120 Hz 4:4:4 10‑bit signals with HDR10+, Dolby Vision and 3D. Audio on both HDMI outputs is limited to PCM stereo; multichannel formats are not passed through. A 3.5 mm jack provides a separate analogue audio feed.

Questions about this item

Will the 48 Gbps rating actually deliver 8K at 60 Hz to both screens at once?

The splitter mirrors one source to two displays at up to 8K 60 Hz 4:2:0 10-bit or 4K 120 Hz 4:4:4 10-bit. Mixed resolutions such as 8K 60 Hz on one screen and 4K 60 Hz on the other are supported, provided both displays share the same refresh rate.

Does HDMI 2.1 with HDCP 2.3 limit the bandwidth or features I can use?

The device is HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.3 compliant, handling up to 40 Gbps bandwidth. It passes HDR, HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision without stripping metadata.

What does the unit need for power and physical mounting?

It requires a 5 V USB charger (not included) — do not use a multi-voltage adapter. The enclosure measures 4.5 x 2.5 x 1.5 inches and weighs 5.3 ounces, so it sits on a desk or can be velcro-mounted behind a display.
