Splits one DisplayPort 1.4 source to HDMI and DisplayPort outputs for dual-monitor MST or SST use at up to 8K 30 Hz or 4K 120 Hz
This DisplayPort 1.4 splitter takes a single DP output and drives two monitors simultaneously through one HDMI port and one DisplayPort port. It supports MST for extended desktops and SST for mirrored content, making it suitable for digital signage in schools, churches and conference rooms as well as multi-monitor productivity setups. The adapter is compliant with DP 1.4, 1.3, 1.2 and 1.0 specifications and requires a source device with MST capability for dual independent displays.
This splitter suits users who need to connect one HDMI monitor and one DisplayPort monitor to a single DP 1.4 output without switching cables. It is not for buyers who want to drive two HDMI displays or two DisplayPort displays from the same hub, nor for systems whose GPU lacks MST support and therefore cannot extend across both screens. Gamers targeting 1440p at 165 Hz or 144 Hz should note those refresh rates are only available on the DisplayPort output.
The splitter handles 8K at 30 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1440p at up to 165 Hz on the DisplayPort output, while the HDMI output tops out at 4K 120 Hz and 1440p 60 Hz. If your workflow needs 1440p 165 Hz on both screens simultaneously, this device cannot deliver that combination. Check your source bandwidth and monitor port mix against these limits before buying.

One DisplayPort input from the source and two outputs — one HDMI and one DisplayPort — each requiring a matching cable for the monitor.
Connect the source to the DP input and both monitors to the HDMI and DP outputs, then select MST mode in the OS display settings to extend the desktop across the two screens.
