This Vszerda adapter converts two M.2 NGFF B-key SATA solid-state drives to standard SATA 3.0 6 Gbps connections. A SATA3 to USB 3.0 cable is included so the drives can be used externally with a host system. The board supports SATA protocol devices only.

Connect Two SATA M.2 Drives via USB

Users who need to access a pair of B-key SATA M.2 modules through a USB port will find this kit suitable. Builders requiring M-key only modules or drives that do not use the SATA protocol should consider a different adapter because this product only accepts B-key SATA devices.

Questions about this item

Will this adapter let me keep using my existing SATA 3.0 drives alongside an M.2 NGFF SATA SSD?

Yes, the board converts a B-key M.2 SATA SSD to a standard SATA 3.0 6Gbps connection so it works with your current SATA cables and ports.

How can I verify the adapter is running at SATA 3.0 6Gbps after I connect it?

Check the negotiated link speed in your BIOS or OS disk utility; it should report 6Gbps for the attached M.2 SATA drive.
