Dual-Monitor KVM Switch for Two Computers

This HDMI KVM switch lets you control two computers with a single keyboard, mouse and dual-monitor setup. It shares four USB 3.0 peripherals between both systems and supports both duplicate and extended display modes. The unit includes a 12V power adapter for stable operation with high-power USB devices.

Suited to dual-head workstations and multi-OS desks

Ideal for users who run Windows, Linux, Mac OS or Unix on two machines and need instant switching via front-panel button or wired remote. Not suited to laptops or PCs with only one HDMI output, because the switch requires two HDMI ports per computer. Buyers who rely on keyboard hotkeys for switching should look elsewhere, as hotkey switching is not supported.

Handles 4K 60 Hz across two screens with 5 Gbps USB

Each monitor can run at up to 4K 60 Hz provided the source, cable and display all support that rate. Four USB 3.0 ports deliver 5 Gbps bandwidth for drives, scanners or other peripherals and remain compatible with USB 2.0 devices. The 12V supply ensures headroom when multiple high-draw devices are connected simultaneously.

Questions about this item

Does each of my two computers need two HDMI output ports to use the dual-monitor modes?

Yes, the switch requires each connected computer to have two HDMI outputs so it can drive both monitors in duplicate or extended mode.

Will my existing USB 2.0 keyboard, mouse and flash drives work through the four USB 3.0 ports?

The four USB 3.0 ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices, so older peripherals will function normally.

How can I confirm the switch is delivering a 4K 60 Hz signal to both monitors after I connect everything?

Check the display settings on each computer; both should show the native 4K resolution at 60 Hz when the source is selected.
