Splits one HDMI 1.4 source to two displays at up to 4K 30 Hz, 1080p 120 Hz, or 1080p 3D 60 Hz
The Vszerda HDMI 1×2 splitter takes a single HDMI source and sends the same signal to two displays at once. It supports video resolutions up to 4K at 30 Hz, 1080p at 120 Hz and 1080p 3D at 60 Hz. The unit is built as a compact black box with HDMI 1.4 female connectors for the input and both outputs. It suits anyone who needs to show identical content on two screens without a matrix switch.
The device draws its operating power from the HDMI source itself, so no external adapter is required. Because it simply duplicates the incoming TMDS stream, it adds no measurable latency and does not alter the audio or video payload. HDCP signalling passes through unchanged, allowing protected content to play on both connected displays. Normal operation is silent and produces no noticeable heat.
During continuous operation the splitter maintains a stable link on both outputs as long as the source signal remains present. The HDMI 1.4 interface limits the maximum bandwidth to the resolutions listed above, so higher refresh rates or deeper colour formats cannot be transmitted. If the source device drops the signal, both outputs lose sync simultaneously and recover together when the signal returns.

Connect the source to the HDMI 1.4 input, then attach two displays to the HDMI 1.4 outputs; the step often missed is powering the unit so the amplified signal reaches both screens at 4K 30Hz or 1080p 120Hz.
No scheduled maintenance is required; if the power adapter fails or HDMI 1.4 ports wear from repeated insertion, replace the affected cable or the whole splitter.
The HDMI 1.4 bandwidth caps 4K output at 30 Hz, so sustained 4K use hits that ceiling before any thermal throttle, while 1080p can run at 120 Hz within the same link.
