One-to-three SATA power splitter

The Vszerda adapter converts a single large 4-pin Molex connector from a power supply into three SATA power ports. It uses 1007 22AWG tinned-copper conductors with PVC insulation and an outer diameter of 1.6 mm. The 22 cm cable weighs 19 grams and is rated for 80 °C operation.

Check connector gender and power budget

Verify that the power supply provides a large 4-pin male Molex plug, because the splitter terminates in a matching female socket. Each SATA device draws power through the shared 17-strand 0.12 mm conductors, so confirm the combined load stays within the supply’s Molex rail limit. The yellow, black and red wires carry standard 12 V, 5 V and ground lines.

Replaces single-drive Molex-to-SATA leads

Builders who previously used one-to-one adapters can now power three SATA drives or peripherals from a single Molex header. The jump is worth it when case routing space is tight and the 22 cm reach covers the drive cage without strain. Users needing more than three SATA power connections or a longer cable run will require a different solution.
