This Vszerda cable connects a host bus adapter, RAID controller or motherboard with an SFF-8643 port to up to four SATA hard drives or SSDs. Each 1.0 metre assembly uses a 36-pin Mini SAS plug on the host side and four 7-pin SATA connectors on the drive side. Stainless steel latches secure the connection for reliable internal storage cabling.

Suits RAID and workstation builds with Mini SAS

Builders adding multiple drives to an Adaptec 71605 or 7895 controller, or similar SFF-8643-equipped hardware, can run four SATA devices from one port. The cable supports both 3 Gbps and 6 Gbps SATA speeds. Systems that lack an SFF-8643 host connector cannot use this breakout.
