Wooster 301 6.5 in Super-Fab Rollers
These two mini rollers use knit fabric covers with a half-inch nap. They fit Jumbo-Koter cage frames and suit flat, eggshell, satin, stain or waterproofing coatings. The polypropylene core resists solvents and water. Painters working on brick, concrete, drywall, masonry or wood will find them ready for semi-rough textures.
Replaces worn mini-roller covers
Swap them out when the nap mats down, sheds fibres or stops releasing paint evenly. The jump is worth it if the old cover leaves stipple on low-sheen finishes or cannot hold enough material for semi-rough surfaces. Fresh covers restore consistent film build without changing frames.
Slides onto Jumbo-Koter cage frames
Push the 3/4 in core onto the frame until it seats firmly; no tools required. What usually goes wrong is forcing a cover onto a bent cage or using a frame with a different core size, which causes wobble and uneven roll-off. Rinse immediately after use to keep the knit fabric from hardening.

Questions about this item
What cage frame style fits the 6.5 in roller?
The rollers are made for Jumbo-Koter cage frames with a 3/4 in core diameter.
How do you install the roller onto the frame, and what step is often missed?
Slide the cover onto the cage frame until it seats fully on the 3/4 in core; the step often missed is confirming the cover is centred so it rolls evenly.
When should the knit fabric covers be replaced?
Replace them when the nap wears down, fibres shed into the finish, or the covers no longer hold enough paint for flat, eggshell, satin, stain or waterproofing coatings.
