Wooster 9 in Roller Cover

The Wooster 9 in roller cover uses a 3/8 in nap woven fabric core to hold paint evenly across semi-smooth surfaces. It fits standard cage frames and works with all paints, enamels, epoxies, primers and urethanes on concrete, drywall, masonry, metal and wood.

Compatible Frame Models

The cover mounts on frames including BR549-11, R017-9, R030-9, R402-11, R404-11, R405-13 and R501-9 so existing equipment can be reused without new purchases. Polypropylene core resists solvents and cleans quickly between coats.

Semi-Smooth Surface Coverage

Designed for semi-smooth substrates the 3/8 in nap lays down high-gloss finishes with minimal texture on walls, ceilings and trim. Rough or heavily textured surfaces will not receive full coverage and may require a thicker nap.

Questions about this item

Will the 1 1/2 in polypropylene core need replacement after heavy use?

The polypropylene core resists solvents and water, so it will not break down from paint contact; replace the cover only when the woven fabric nap wears smooth.

What limits coverage on semi-smooth concrete during a long session?

The 3/8 in woven fabric nap holds a finite paint load; on porous semi-smooth surfaces it empties faster than on smooth walls, so you reload more often.

Does the cover get hot or slip on the frame after hours of rolling?

The cover stays at ambient temperature and the cage-style core grips compatible frames such as the R017-9 or R402-11 without slipping.
