Wooster Brush Company Q3208-1 1" Angle Sash Paint Brush

1" Angle Sash Brush for Trim Work

The Wooster Q3208-1 is a 1-inch angle sash brush designed for cutting in edges and painting trim. Its synthetic nylon-polyester filament works with oil and water-based coatings on wood, metal, drywall, brick and concrete. The soft bristle stiffness helps reduce brush marks on smooth and medium surfaces. It suits DIY painters and professionals finishing detail areas.

Synthetic Filament Limits on Rough Surfaces

The soft synthetic bristles hold less coating than stiffer natural blends, so coverage drops on heavily textured brick or rough-sawn lumber. The 3/8-inch thickness and 2 3/16-inch length limit paint pickup per stroke compared to wider wall brushes. Brass-plated steel ferrules resist solvent corrosion but add weight during extended overhead use. The beavertail plastic handle cannot be removed for extension poles.

Check Handle Grip and Ferrule Fit Before Buying

Verify the beavertail plastic handle shape fits your grip preference for long cutting-in sessions. Confirm the 1-inch width matches the trim profiles you typically paint. Ensure the brass-plated ferrule seats tightly against the handle to prevent bristle splay when pressing into corners. The brush is new and unrestricted for sale in all states.
