9" Roller Cover for Smooth Surfaces

This nine-inch roller cover uses a quarter-inch nap to apply paint evenly on smooth substrates. The shed-resistant fabric core holds oil-based and water-based coatings without releasing lint. A polypropylene core fits standard cage frames for quick attachment.

Low-Shed Fabric Reduces Clean-Up

Shed-resistant material keeps fibres on the roller instead of the wall, so less time is spent picking debris from fresh paint. The quarter-inch nap holds enough coating for consistent coverage without excess build-up. Polypropylene core resists solvent softening during extended use.

Compatible Frames Listed by Model

The cover fits Wooster frames BR549-11, R017-9, R030-9, R402-11, R404-11, R405-13 and R501-9. No additional tools or adapters are required for these cage-style frames. Builders using other frame designs will need a different cover.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 9" cover to a cage frame without it slipping off?

Slide the 1 1/2 in polypropylene core onto the cage wires until it seats fully; the friction fit holds the cover without clips or screws.

When will the shed-resistant fabric need replacing on epoxy floors?

Replace the cover when the 1/4 in nap no longer releases a uniform film or when fibres embed in the cured coating.

What limits continuous rolling with oil-based paint on concrete?

The 1/4 in nap loads quickly on rough concrete, so the cover must be reloaded more often than thicker naps.
