4½" Mini Roller Covers — ½" Nap

These Wooster mini roller covers measure 4½ inches long with a ½-inch knit-fabric nap. They come in a two-pack and fit standard cage frames. The covers are designed for flat, eggshell, satin, stain and waterproofing coatings on semi-rough surfaces such as brick, concrete, drywall, masonry and wood.

Cage-frame fit, slide-on install

Each cover slides onto a ¾-inch core cage frame such as the 8619, BR403-4 1/2, RR013, RR014 or RR323. No tools are required. The knit fabric can shed lint on the first coat, so a quick rinse and spin before use reduces loose fibres. Over-loading the roller leads to drips and uneven texture on rough substrates.

Check frame core and coating type

Verify that your existing mini frame uses a ¾-inch core cage style; other core sizes will not hold these covers securely. Confirm the paint or stain you plan to apply is listed as compatible — flat, eggshell, satin, stain or waterproofing — because gloss or specialty coatings may not lay down properly with this nap.
