2-port HDMI 2.1 switch for two sources

This WRIARICH switch connects two HDMI sources to a single display. It supports 8K resolution at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz. The unit requires external power via the included USB cable to function. A front button toggles between inputs within one second.

48 Gbps bandwidth and 4096 x 2160 maximum resolution

The switch handles video bandwidth up to 48 Gbps and a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2160. It is backward compatible with earlier HDMI standards. Standard HDMI 2.1 cables are needed to achieve the highest resolutions and refresh rates.

Suits users with two devices and one screen

Ideal for setups where a console and a PC share one monitor or TV. Not suitable for users who need to send one source to multiple displays simultaneously. Buyers without a free USB port for power should look at a different solution.

Questions about this item

What does the 48 Gbps bandwidth mean when the switch is connected to a real display?

It carries the full HDMI 2.1 data rate so an 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz signal passes through without compression.

How does the HDMI 2.1 interface limit what resolutions and refresh rates I can actually use?

The switch supports up to 4096 × 2160 at 60 Hz for 8K and 4K at 120 Hz; higher rates would exceed the 48 Gbps ceiling.

What does the unit need to fit and stay powered in my setup?

It measures 5 inches long, has one HDMI input and two HDMI outputs, and requires the included USB-A-to-Micro-B cable for power.
