HDMI Audio Extractor with ARC

The WRIARICH OZV8 extracts audio from a single HDMI source and delivers it through optical Toslink and 3.5 mm analogue outputs while passing the video signal onward. It suits anyone connecting a console, Blu-ray player or streaming box to a soundbar, amplifier or headphones without routing audio through the display.

Bundled cable and power adapter simplify setup

A 5V/1A power supply and an HDMI cable are included so the unit works immediately without hunting for a spare charger or lead. Three EDID audio switches let you choose Pass, 2CH or 5.1CH output modes to match the connected audio gear.

Compact black enclosure fits tight spaces

Measuring 5.59 x 3.15 x 1.26 inches and weighing 3.2 ounces, the splitter sits discreetly behind a TV or inside a media cabinet. Gold-plated connectors and HDCP 2.2 compliance ensure reliable 18Gbps bandwidth for 4K@60Hz signals day after day.

Questions about this item

Will the 5V/1A power adapter need replacing after extended use?

The unit ships with a 5V/1A power adapter; if it fails, any 5V/1A supply with the same barrel plug will work.

At 18Gbps bandwidth, does the HDMI 2.0a link become the bottleneck during long 4K@60Hz sessions?

The 18Gbps bandwidth matches HDMI 2.0a spec, so the link itself is the ceiling; sustained 4K@60Hz runs at that limit.

Does the extractor get hot or draw extra power when running 24/7 with both SPDIF and 3.5mm outputs active?

Power draw stays at 5V/1A maximum; the aluminium case dissipates heat passively, so temperature remains low during continuous operation.
