A 6-pin to triple Molex 4-pin angled cable with 50, 15 and 15 cm legs for Corsair Type 3 and 4 modular PSUs
This angled 6-pin to triple Molex cable connects legacy drives and fans to Corsair Type 3 or Type 4 modular power supplies. It suits builders adding PATA hard drives, optical drives or floppy drives to a supported AXi, HXi, HX Gold, RM, or CX-M unit. It will not work with Corsair Type 1 or Type 2 PSUs or with other brands.
The cable uses UL1007 tinned-copper 18AWG conductors rated for heat resistance and long-term durability. Total length is 50 cm from the PSU connector to the first Molex, then 15 cm between each of the three Molex plugs. The flexible jacket bends easily for clean routing inside tight cases.
The 6-pin male end plugs directly into the modular port on compatible Corsair supplies; two unused pin positions are normal. Each Molex 4-pin female connector powers one peripheral such as a fan, optical drive or older hard drive. No adapters or software are included.

Plug the 6-pin male connector directly into a peripheral port on the AX860i; the cable is keyed for Corsair Type 3 and 4 units only and will not fit Type 1 or 2 supplies.
The 18AWG UL1007 tinned copper wires are heat resistant and not prone to ageing, so the Molex ends should not require replacement under normal use.
The cable uses 18AWG conductors rated for typical peripheral draws; sustained loads near the PSU's peripheral rail limit will hit the wire gauge capacity first.
