Connects a Corsair Type 4 or Type 3 modular PSU to four SATA drives using an angled 6-pin plug and 50 cm lead with three 15 cm branches built from 18 AWG UL1007 wire
This internal power cable connects a single 6-pin modular PSU output to four SATA devices such as SSDs, hard drives or riser cards. It is built for owners of compatible Corsair Type 3 and Type 4 modular power supplies who need to add multiple drives without extra PSU cables. Builders using Corsair Type 1, Type 2 or non-Corsair units cannot use this cable due to pinout differences.
The cable uses UL1007 rated 18AWG conductors that resist heat and ageing during normal operation. Passive wiring adds no fan noise and draws no power beyond what the attached SATA devices require. The black insulation remains flexible for tidy routing inside the chassis.
Total reach is 50 cm to the first connector followed by three 15 cm drops between the remaining SATA plugs. Angled SATA heads ease insertion in tight drive bays and improve cable management. One 6-pin position is intentionally empty (NC) per the standard pinout; this is normal and not a defect.

Plug the 6Pin end into the Corsair Type 4 or Type 3 modular PSU port and connect each angled SATA connector to your drives. The common mistake is using this cable with Corsair Type 1, Type 2 or any non-Corsair PSU, which have different pinouts and can cause damage.
The 18AWG UL1007 wire is heat resistant and designed not to age easily, so no scheduled maintenance is required. Replace the cable only if the insulation shows cracking, the angled SATA connectors become loose, or you move to a PSU that is not Corsair Type 3 or Type 4 compatible.
The 6Pin PSU port and 18AWG conductors set the total current ceiling for all four SATA devices combined. Under sustained heavy load from multiple SSDs or HDDs, this shared 6Pin link will reach its rated capacity before any individual SATA connector does.
