18 x 24 ft heavy-duty tarpaulin

The Yescom 07PTR001-18X24-0611 is a 10-mil poly tarp built from 100% brand-new PE with triple-coated lamination. Silver and black reversible sides provide waterproofing and UV resistance for long-term outdoor exposure. Aluminium grommets spaced at 3 1/4 ft intervals and reinforced PP-capped corners add tear resistance. Seamless edges help prevent water ingress across the 18 x 24 ft coverage area.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Buyers needing a large, reversible cover for boats, vehicles, wood piles, pergolas or camping ground sheets will find the 10-mil thickness and UV protection suitable. The tarp weighs 13.85 lbs or 14.59 lbs depending on measurement, so those wanting an ultra-light sheet for backpacking should consider lighter materials. It is not designed for permanent structural roofing or high-wind load-rated applications.

What to check before ordering

Measure the object you intend to cover and confirm the 18 x 24 ft finished size provides enough overhang for secure tie-down at the grommet points. Verify that the 1 m grommet spacing matches your anchoring method and that the silver or black facing meets your heat-reflection or heat-retention preference. The product is sold as a single unit in 15 available size options.

Questions about this item

What rope or bungee length do I need for the 18 x 24 ft tarp with grommets every 3 1/4 ft?

The tarp has aluminum grommets spaced at 3 1/4 ft intervals around the perimeter; measure each side and buy enough rope or bungee cord to tie every grommet to your frame or anchor points.

Will the 10-mil PE sheet tear if I lay it over a rough wooden pallet I already own?

The 10-mil thickness and reinforced PP-capped corners resist tearing on rough surfaces; still, place a smooth blanket or cardboard layer over splintered wood to extend the tarp life.

How can I confirm the silver side is facing up for UV reflection after I secure it?

The silver surface reflects sunlight and stays visibly brighter than the black underside; once tied down, stand back and verify the shiny silver face is outward.
