ZAGG Pro Keys Wireless Keyboard Detachable Case 12.9 iPad Pro 3rd 4th 5th Gen Black 103407563 iPad accessory

ZAGG Pro Keys for 12.9 iPad Pro

The ZAGG Pro Keys is a wireless keyboard and detachable case built for the Apple iPad Pro 12.9 inch models released in 2018, 2020 and 2021. It targets users who want a laptop-like typing experience while keeping the tablet portable. The case snaps on magnetically and holds the iPad at adjustable viewing angles. A dedicated stylus attachment keeps an Apple Pencil secure during transport.

Bluetooth keyboard limits and backlight

The keyboard connects over Bluetooth, so it works without cables but requires occasional charging and a stable wireless link. Backlit keys help in low light, yet the illumination draws extra power and may reduce runtime between charges. Forward-facing speaker cutouts preserve audio direction, but the case adds bulk compared with a bare tablet or a slim folio. The detachable design means the keyboard can be left behind when only touch input is needed.

Replaces separate folio and keyboard

This single accessory replaces a separate folio case and a standalone Bluetooth keyboard, cutting the number of items to carry. The jump is worth it for anyone who types long documents, emails or code on the move and wants a rigid, adjustable stand built in. Buyers who only need light screen protection or who prefer the iPad's on-screen keyboard will not benefit from the extra weight and cost.
