Dual-frequency access reader

The ZKTECO KR101E and KR101M read both 125KHz proximity cards and 13.56MHz Mifare credentials. They output standard Wiegand 26 or 34-bit data to compatible controllers. An IP65-rated epoxy-sealed housing allows indoor or outdoor mounting on metal frames or mullions. Built-in dual-colour LED and buzzer give immediate visual and audible access feedback.

Verify controller and wiring first

Confirm your access controller accepts Wiegand 26 or 34-bit input and can supply DC 5 to 16 volts, typically 12 volts. The reader communicates up to 100 metres over Wiegand cable; plan the cable run accordingly. Operating temperature spans -10°C to 70°C with 10 to 90 percent relative humidity. The compact 78 by 43 by 16 millimetre body fits narrow mullion spaces.

Replaces single-frequency
