KR101 Waterproof Dual-Frequency Reader

The ZKTECO KR101 is a dual-frequency access control reader that supports 125KHz proximity cards and 13.56MHz Mifare credentials. It connects to controllers via standard Wiegand 26 or 34-bit output and is built for indoor or outdoor mounting on metal door frames. The unit is rated IP65 waterproof with an operating temperature range of -10°C to 70°C.

Wiegand Interface and Read Range Limits

Communication uses the Wiegand protocol over distances up to 100 metres to the controller. Proximity read range reaches up to 10cm for 125KHz cards and 5cm for 13.56MHz Mifare cards. The reader requires a DC 5-16V power supply, with 12V as standard, and includes reverse polarity protection for safer wiring.

Replaces Standalone Keypads or Indoor-Only Readers

This reader upgrades installations that previously relied on separate keypads or indoor-only proximity readers by combining dual-frequency card support with a weatherproof housing.
