Waterproof Wiegand Card Reader

The ZKTECO KR101E and KR101M are waterproof access control card readers designed for indoor and outdoor door entry systems. They connect to controllers via standard 26 or 34-bit Wiegand output and support both 125KHz proximity and 13.56MHz Mifare credentials. The IP65-rated epoxy-sealed housing operates from -10°C to 70°C.

Dual-Frequency Read Range and Headroom

The E series reads 125KHz cards up to 10cm away, while the M series reads 13.56MHz Mifare cards up to 5cm; the combined proximity range spans 3 to 15cm. Dual-colour LEDs and a built-in buzzer give immediate visual and audible feedback for granted or denied access. Power input accepts 5 to 16V DC with reverse polarity protection.

Mullion-Mount Upgrade for Legacy Readers

The slim 78 by 43 by 16mm black ABS and PVC body mounts directly on metal door frames or mullions where bulkier readers cannot fit. It replaces older single-frequency or non-waterproof units that lack Wiegand 34-bit support or external LED and buzzer control.
