10,000-face biometric terminal

The ZKTECO XFace620 is a palmprint and face recognition device built for office access control and time attendance. It stores up to 10,000 facial templates, 10,000 card records and 3,000 palm templates. A 5-inch IPS touch screen provides the local interface for enrolment and record query. The unit suits businesses that need multi-modal verification at entry points.

Sustained indoor operation

The terminal is rated for continuous use between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius at 20% to 80% relative humidity. Its DC 12 V 3 A power input supports stable operation during extended shifts without thermal throttling. The 100,000-record log buffer absorbs high-traffic periods before offloading to management software. Photo ID and Wiegand input or output extend integration with existing door controllers.

TCP/IP and optional Wi-Fi limits

Network connectivity relies on wired TCP/IP with optional Wi-Fi for sites where cabling is impractical. Bandwidth and latency follow the chosen Ethernet or wireless infrastructure, so remote enrolment speed varies with local network conditions. The device measures 203 by 92 by 21.5 millimetres and connects to ZKAccess3.5, E-ZKEco Pro or ZKTime5.0 software for centralised administration.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the XFace620 generate when it runs continuously on its DC 12 V 3 A supply?

The unit draws up to 3 A at 12 V from the included power adapter and is rated for an operating temperature range of 0 to 45 °C with 20 % to 80 % RH humidity.

What existing wiring or network gear must be in place before the XFace620 can be installed?

It connects via TCP/IP over a standard Ethernet cable and supports optional Wi-Fi, so a LAN port or wireless network is required for communication.

Can the XFace620 share door-control signals with an older access panel that uses Wiegand wiring?

Yes, the terminal provides Wiegand input and output, allowing it to integrate with legacy panels that use the same interface.
