Access control terminal

The ZKTECO XFace620+IC stores up to 10,000 facial templates, 10,000 cards and 3,000 palmprints while logging 100,000 events. A 5-inch IPS touch screen handles photo ID, record query and advanced access control functions. It operates between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius and 20 to 80 percent relative humidity on a DC 12V 3A supply.

Communication options limited to TCP/IP

The unit connects via wired TCP/IP with an optional Wi-Fi module for wireless deployment. Data syncs through ZKAccess3.5, E-ZKEco Pro or ZKTime5.0 software. No other network interfaces or protocols are supported, so integration must use these channels. The 203 by 92 by 21.5 millimetre housing fits standard wall mounting.

Replaces separate card readers and keypad panels

Combining face, palm and card verification in one device removes the need for multiple readers at each door. The jump is worthwhile when a site requires multi-factor authentication and centralised event logging across TCP/IP or optional Wi-Fi. Buyers who need biometric modalities beyond face, palm and card should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the XFace620+IC for its 10,000 face slots or the 3,000 palm slots?

The terminal stores up to 10,000 faces and 3,000 palms simultaneously, so choose based on which biometric method your staff will use daily.

How does the 100,000 record capacity hold up in a busy office?

It logs 100,000 events before overwriting, enough for months of entries even with hundreds of users clocking in each day.

What does the TCP/IP and optional WIFI connection limit in practice?

TCP/IP gives a wired 10/100 link; optional WIFI adds wireless flexibility but shares the same network bandwidth for data sync.
