Ryzen 7 260 laptop for gamers

The Acer Nitro 16 pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 260 octa-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU and 64 GB DDR5 memory. A 16 inch WUXGA panel at 180 Hz delivers smooth motion for competitive play. Windows 11 Home runs on a 2 TB PCIe SSD for fast load times.

Upgrade from 16 GB and 512 GB SSD

The factory configuration ships with 16 GB memory and a 512 GB drive. This unit is opened by engineers to install 64 GB DDR5 and a 2 TB PCIe SSD before delivery. The jump is worth it when you run memory-heavy titles, stream while gaming, or keep large libraries installed locally.

Ports and connectivity for a complete setup

Three USB-A 3.2 ports, one USB-C 4 port, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet and a MicroSD reader cover peripherals and external displays. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 handle wireless gear. The 720p webcam and 4-zone RGB keyboard complete the package without extra dongles.

Questions about this item

What are the exact chassis dimensions of the Acer Nitro 16 so I can check it fits my bag or sleeve?

The laptop measures 14.2 x 10.9 x 0.96 inches and weighs 5.38 pounds.

How do I install the 64GB DDR5 upgrade and what step do people often miss?

Engineers open the original seal, fit two DDR5 modules into the SO-DIMM slots, then verify dual-channel operation in BIOS — the step many skip is confirming both sticks run at the same speed.

Which storage slot will need attention if I want more capacity later?

The 512GB PCIe SSD occupies the primary M.2 slot; a second M.2 bay is free for an additional drive when you need extra space.
