Ready-to-play desktop for 4K gaming

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 arrives assembled with Windows 11 Home, a 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X at 4.4GHz, and an RTX 5080 with 16GB GDDR7. It targets enthusiasts who want maximum frame rates at high resolution without building or tuning a system themselves.

360mm liquid cooler sustains 12-core throughput

The 360mm liquid cooler keeps the Ryzen 9 9900X near its base frequency during extended sessions, preventing the throttling typical of air-cooled 12-core chips. The 1000W supply feeds both the CPU and the RTX 5080 continuously, so combined compute and raster workloads remain stable for hours.

Standard ATX layout simplifies future upgrades

Four DDR5 slots are all populated with 128GB total, so adding memory later requires replacing modules rather than filling gaps. The NVMe SSD and SATA III HDD use common mounts, while the 360mm radiator occupies the front or top panel — verify case clearance before planning a larger cooler or extra drives.
