Core configuration

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White desktop arrives as a complete gaming system built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 16-core processor running at 4.7GHz. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card equipped with 16GB of GDDR7 memory and 64GB of DDR5 system memory. A 360mm liquid cooler handles thermal duties while a 1000W power supply drives the platform. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Build integration

The chassis includes a 2TB NVMe SSD for the operating system and primary applications plus a 2TB SATA III hard drive for bulk storage, leaving all four DDR5 slots populated. Wireless networking and RGB lighting are integrated, so no extra adapters or controllers are required. The 1000W unit powers every included component without the need for an additional PSU purchase.

Buyer fit

This system suits enthusiasts who want a high-end AMD and NVIDIA combination ready to play immediately, with liquid cooling and generous memory already configured. Buyers who prefer to select their own cooler, power supply or storage layout should look at a barebones or DIY kit instead.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 7 9800X3D from throttling during long gaming sessions?

The included 360 mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 16-core 4.7 GHz CPU under sustained load, helping maintain boost clocks without thermal throttling.

How loud is the system when the RTX 5080 and CPU are both at full load for hours?

With a 360 mm radiator and a 1000 W power supply, the cooling fans and PSU fan run at moderate speeds, keeping noise at a typical high-performance desktop level during extended full-load use.

Does the motherboard have free DDR5 slots if I want to add more than the installed 64 GB?

The board provides four DDR5 slots in total; all four are populated to reach 64 GB, so any upgrade would require replacing existing modules.
