Tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router delivers up to 19 Gbps across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands with dual 10 Gbps ports and eight external antennas
Version RT-BE96U
Wireless Speed Tri Band WiFi 7
The ASUS RT-BE96U is a tri-band wireless router built on the IEEE 802.11be standard. It delivers combined wireless data rates up to 19 Gbps across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. A 2.6 GHz quad-core processor handles traffic for demanding home and small-office networks. Eight external antennas provide broad coverage.
Households with multi-gigabit internet plans and Wi-Fi 7 devices will benefit from dual 10 Gbps ports and 320 MHz channel width on the 6 GHz band. MLO support enables simultaneous multi-band links for lower latency. Buyers who only need basic wireless connectivity or lack Wi-Fi 7 clients will not use the headline features.
The router includes two 10 Gbps ports configurable for WAN or LAN use. This hardware decides whether the unit can serve as a true multi-gig gateway or mesh backbone. Without a 10 Gbps internet service or wired backbone the extra port capacity remains unused.
