Questions about this item

Can the 4 GB SODIMM DDR4 module be replaced with a larger stick later?

Yes, the 12 GB total uses 8 GB soldered onboard plus a single 4 GB DDR4 SODIMM that can be swapped for a higher-capacity module.

What limits sustained performance first — the 45 W power supply or the 42 Wh battery?

The 45 W adapter caps continuous power draw; under heavy load the Ryzen 7 4700U will throttle to stay within that envelope before the battery becomes a factor.

How loud do the fans get when the 8-core Ryzen 7 4700U runs at 4.10 GHz all day?

The cooling system spins up noticeably during prolonged turbo workloads, producing an audible but not intrusive airflow noise typical for a thin 15.6" chassis.
