Opotion: Select nFace128 + ADMS

  • Multi-mode verification with face, fingerprint and IC card options
  • HD binocular camera enables fast identification in low light
  • TCP/IP communication provides stable data transmission
  • U-disk support simplifies user data management
  • Stores 1000 users and 100000 records for larger teams

Compact access terminal for small teams

The nFace128 combines facial, fingerprint and IC card verification in a single desktop unit. It stores up to 1,000 users per credential type and retains 100,000 event records for audit purposes. Offices needing straightforward attendance tracking without server infrastructure will find the feature set sufficient.

Local storage and wired networking only

All templates and logs reside on the device; there is no cloud sync or wireless link mentioned in the specifications. Data moves via TCP/IP cable or by manually transferring files with a U-disk, so remote sites without cabled LAN must plan for physical collection. Environments that require real-time centralised monitoring across multiple locations are not addressed by this hardware.

Binocular camera with fill light for indoor use

The HD binocular camera activates visible-light illumination automatically in low-light conditions, allowing reliable reads at typical office brightness. Wall or desktop mounting is implied by the form factor, though no bracket or cut-out dimensions are supplied. Buyers who need outdoor-rated enclosures, PoE power or multi-factor rules beyond the three built-in modes should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 1,000-face model or the 128-face model?

This unit stores up to 1,000 face templates and 1,000 fingerprint templates, so the 128 figure refers only to the model name, not to a lower capacity option.

What does the 100,000-record capacity mean for daily use?

It holds 100,000 attendance events before the oldest logs must be cleared or downloaded, enough for months of typical clock-in traffic.

How does TCP/IP limit the data transfer in practice?

The Ethernet link moves verification logs and user templates at LAN speed, so the bottleneck is your network switch, not the terminal itself.
