Facial terminal for 10000 users

The Audiovox zFace1701 is a facial recognition access control terminal designed for organisations that need to manage up to 10000 enrolled faces and 10000 IC cards. A 7-inch touch screen provides on-device interaction while the visible-light algorithm and binocular camera verify identity at the door. IP65-rated housing protects the unit against dust and water jets for reliable indoor or outdoor mounting.

Sustained verification throughput

The terminal stores 300000 transaction records locally so months of attendance and access logs remain available without daily offloads. Visible-light recognition maintains consistent speed across repeated scans during shift changes, and the binocular camera reduces false rejects caused by lighting variation. Optional WiFi supplements the wired TCP/IP link for continuous network connectivity when cabling is impractical.

Installation and common issues

Power and network connections use standard Ethernet and USB flash drive for firmware or data transfer, keeping cabling straightforward for electricians. The IP65 seal requires careful gland fitting; missed seals are the main cause of water ingress. Card enrolment and face registration are handled on the touchscreen, but administrators should plan user imports via USB when populating the full 10000 capacity.

It connects through a standard TCP/IP Ethernet link and also accepts a USB flash drive for offline data transfer.

Can the zFace1701 trigger the door magnets and alarm outputs on an older access-control panel?

Yes, the unit provides door-magnet and alarm interfaces and supports linkage with indoor units and wireless doorbell receivers for remote opening and call recording.
