Facial Recognition Terminal for 10000 Users

The Audiovox Generic zFace1701 is a facial recognition terminal built for time attendance and access control. It supports up to 10000 users and stores 300000 records. A 7-inch touch screen provides the interface. Communication uses TCP/IP and USB flash drive with optional WiFi. An IP65 rating protects the unit in demanding environments.

Upgrade from Basic Card or PIN Systems

This terminal replaces older access methods that rely only on cards or PIN codes. The jump is worth it when you need contactless facial verification combined with IC card support for 10000 cards. Visible light recognition and a binocular camera speed up throughput at entry points. It also adds access control functions such as door magnets, alarms and linkage with indoor units for intercom and remote opening.

Simple Network Integration with Optional Wireless

Installation connects the device to the network via TCP/IP or uses a USB flash drive for offline data transfer. Optional WiFi adds flexibility where cabling is difficult. The IP65 housing allows mounting in exposed locations without extra enclosures. Ensure the network infrastructure supports the chosen communication method and that power wiring meets the unit's requirements for reliable operation.

Questions about this item

What mounting method and IP rating does the zFace1701 terminal need for outdoor installation?

The unit carries an IP65 rating, so it resists dust and water jets when mounted on a flat wall with the supplied bracket; ensure the cable glands face downward to maintain the seal.

Which communication interfaces must be configured during first-time setup of the zFace1701?

Connect the Ethernet cable for TCP/IP, insert a USB flash drive for offline logs, and enable the optional WiFi module in the network menu before registering the 10000 users.

How often should the binocular camera lenses be cleaned on the zFace1701 to keep recognition accurate?

Wipe both lenses with a microfibre cloth monthly or whenever the 7-inch touch screen shows a recognition-error prompt; avoid solvents that could damage the IP65 coating.
