7-inch touch access terminal

The Audiovox zFace1701+ADMS is a facial recognition access control terminal built for office environments that need contactless entry and time-attendance tracking. It serves businesses that want a single device to verify identity, log events and connect to door hardware without adding separate readers.

IP65 protection with visible-light recognition

The unit carries an IP65 rating so daily exposure to dust and water jets does not interrupt operation. A visible-light facial algorithm works with a million-pixel binocular camera to authenticate users quickly while the 7-inch touch screen remains responsive across wide viewing angles.

Replaces separate keypad and card readers

Organisations moving from PIN pads or standalone proximity readers gain combined face, IC card and intercom functions in one housing. The upgrade is worthwhile when a site needs 10000 user capacity, 300000 event records and TCP/IP or optional WiFi networking without deploying multiple devices.

Questions about this item

How is the zFace1701+ADMS mounted and wired, and what is the step installers often skip?

Fix the unit to a wall with the supplied bracket, route TCP/IP cable and door-lock relay wires to the terminal block, then apply power; the step often missed is registering the admin face before enrolling any users so the device is not left in open-enrolment mode.

What maintenance or replacement will the terminal need over time?

Clean the binocular camera lenses and 7-inch touch screen regularly to keep recognition accurate; the IC card reader and relay contacts are solid-state and have no scheduled replacement parts.

What limit appears first when the zFace1701+ADMS runs continuously in a busy office?

The 300000 event log fills before the 10000 face or card databases, so plan to export and clear records via USB or TCP/IP on a regular schedule.
