Extends 4K 60 Hz HDMI up to 70 m over Cat6/7 with loop-out, bi-directional IR and PoC, plus EDID and ARC switches
This extender kit delivers 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 video over a single Cat6/6A/7 cable up to 70m. It supports HDCP 2.3, PCM 7.1, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for professional AV distribution. The package includes transmitter, receiver, IR emitter, broadband IR receiver, mounting brackets and a 12V 1A power adapter.
The units operate without fans, relying on a slim chassis for silent heat dissipation in cabinets or behind displays. Bi-directional PoC powers both ends from one 12V 1A adapter, eliminating the need for a second outlet and reducing cable clutter in tight mounting spaces.
A local HDMI loop output on the transmitter frees up a display port for confidence monitoring or a second screen. Bi-directional IR passthrough (30-50 kHz) works with the included emitter and receiver for remote control from either side. EDID and ARC hardware switches simplify handshake and audio routing for integrators.

Other versions of this model
Connect the transmitter to the HDMI source and the receiver to the display with a single Cat6/6A/7 cable up to 70 m. Plug the 12 V 1 A adapter into either unit; bi-directional PoC powers both. The step often missed is setting the EDID and ARC hardware switches on the chassis before powering on to ensure a clean handshake.
The kit includes one IR emitter and one broadband IR receiver rated for 30-50 kHz. No scheduled maintenance is required, but if the emitter LED degrades or the receiver becomes unresponsive after years of use, replace the individual IR accessory rather than the whole extender.
The 70 m / 230 ft cable distance is the first hard limit. Beyond this range the 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 8-bit signal, HDCP 2.3 handshake and multichannel audio including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X cannot be guaranteed, even with Cat6A or Cat7 cable.
