Wireless HDMI Extender for Home Theater & Projectors

The v AV Access HDW100 transmits 1080p@60Hz video wirelessly up to 200m in open fields or 10m to 50m through interior drywall. It includes a transmitter with HDMI loop-out for a local display and a receiver with IR return so the source device can be controlled remotely. Installation is plug-and-play with automatic pairing.

Sustained Wireless Performance

Auto optimal channel selection continuously scans the 2.4 GHz band and switches channels when interference appears, keeping the link stable during extended viewing sessions. Latency stays below 100ms, well under the typical 300ms benchmark. For installations where wireless conditions are difficult, the units can be linked by Ethernet cable to reach 120m.

Setup Requirements

The extender supports PCM stereo audio only, so confirm your source outputs that format. A clear line of sight maximises the 200m range, while walls reduce it to 10m-50m. If you need wired reach beyond 120m or support for resolutions above 1080p, this model will not meet those needs.

Questions about this item

How much heat or fan noise does the transmitter produce when running continuously?

The unit has no fan and draws only a small amount of power, so it stays cool and silent during all-day use.

Which cables and power adapters must I already have to set up the HDW100?

You need two HDMI cables for the source and the display, plus a Cat5e/6 cable if you choose the wired mode; both power adapters are included in the box.

Will the extender work reliably with my older 1080p projector and AV receiver?

Yes, it supports 1080p@60Hz and passes PCM stereo audio, matching the capabilities of legacy 1080p projectors and receivers.
