The AVer M201 is a passive, bidirectional audio selector that routes stereo signals through 3.5 mm jacks. It serves users who need to toggle between two source devices or send one source to two different outputs without unplugging cables. The aluminium chassis measures 44 by 50 by 23 millimetres and weighs 50 grams.

Plug-and-play with independent grounds

Installation requires only inserting the 3.5 mm plugs into the labelled ports and moving the selector knob. No drivers, software or external power are needed because the unit is entirely passive. The independent ground design switches the ground connection alongside the signal, preventing the hum or noise that commonly occurs when two sources share a common ground.

Transparent signal path under continuous use

Because the switcher contains no active electronics, it adds no latency, distortion or colouration regardless of how long it remains in one position. The mechanical contacts maintain a clean path for both TRS and TRRS connections, so microphone functionality on headsets persists during extended sessions.
