Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO production switcher

Eight 3G-SDI inputs for live production

The ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO is an all-in-one live production switcher with eight 3G-SDI inputs accepting up to 1080p60 video. It is built for television studios, remote productions and live venues that need integrated switching, streaming, recording and audio mixing in a compact polycarbonate chassis. ISO recording captures each input to separate files for later editing. Cloud integration makes program recordings available from anywhere.

1080p60 ceiling on every SDI input

All eight inputs share a 1080p60 maximum, so 4K or higher frame-rate sources cannot be used directly. The multiview supports up to 16 simultaneous sources on a single output. Streaming and USB webcam output are handled internally, while recording can target USB storage or an installed M.2 drive. Remote internet cameras can be controlled and integrated through the same interface.

Check your cameras and record media first

Verify that every camera or source you plan to connect outputs 3G-SDI at 1080p60 or lower. Confirm that your USB or M.2 recording media has sufficient capacity and sustained write speed for eight simultaneous ISO streams plus the program recording. Ensure your network connection can support the streaming bitrate you intend to use and that Blackmagic Cloud access is available in your region.
