This BUCIER cable connects motherboards and host controllers to internal SATA or SAS hard drives, SSDs and optical drives. It carries data only and does not supply power, so each drive must be powered separately. The 0.5 metre length suits tight server chassis and RAID arrays.

The thin SAS-grade cable supports the full SATA 6Gbps specification, so throughput remains consistent during long sequential reads or writes. Actual speed is limited by the rating of the attached drive and controller. Backwards compatibility with SATA I and SATA II devices is maintained.
