Built for harsh environments

The Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0-inch laptop constructed with specialised materials and a chassis tested to military-grade standards. It is designed for field workers, first responders and mobile professionals who need a device that survives drops, vibration, dust and extreme temperatures. The 10-point touchscreen works with protective gloves on.

Touchscreen and connectivity limits

The 1920 x 1080 FHD display offers high brightness for direct sunlight viewing, yet the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 restricts the machine to office applications and light media. Wireless options include Wi-Fi and optional LTE 4G with dedicated GPS, though WWAN hardware may not be installed. Ports comprise USB 3.0, USB Type C, HDMI, DisplayPort, serial and RJ-45.

Memory capacity decides fit

The system ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory paired with a 512 GB SSD and a quad-core i5-8350U processor reaching 3.60 GHz. This configuration suits users who run multiple business applications simultaneously in tough conditions. Buyers who need more storage or discrete graphics for heavy rendering should look elsewhere.
