Business laptop for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 14.0" touchscreen ultrabook built for everyday productivity. It runs on an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 8 GB DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Chassis and connectivity for desk or field

The black chassis measures 14.8" wide, 9.87" deep and .9" at the front, weighing 4.19 lbs. Ports include HDMI, VGA, RJ45, three USB 3.1 Gen1 sockets (one PowerShare), one USB Type-C with DisplayPort alt mode, an SD slot, audio combo jack and optional SIM tray. Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth handle wireless links.

Thermals and power in typical workloads

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 keeps heat output modest during office tasks and video playback. The 1.70 GHz base clock (up to 3.60 GHz boost) allows the cooling system to run quietly under normal loads. Power draw stays low thanks to the 15 W U-series design, supporting all-day battery life on the 15.6" FHD IPS panel.
