Questions about this item

Will the Dell Latitude 5590 drive an external 1080p monitor over its HDMI port while I keep the lid closed?

The HDMI output supports 1920 x 1080 resolution, so an external FHD monitor will work with the lid closed as long as Windows 11 Pro power settings are set to do nothing on lid close.

How can I confirm the i5-8350U is hitting its 3.60 GHz turbo under load?

Open Task Manager in Windows 11 Pro, select the Performance tab and watch the CPU frequency rise toward 3.60 GHz when running a heavy multi-threaded task.

Does the box include a USB-C charger or only the barrel-type power adapter?

The laptop ships with its standard barrel power adapter; a USB-C charger is not included and must be purchased separately if you want to charge via the Type-C DisplayPort port.
