Ready for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 14.0 inch touchscreen ultrabook built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor running at 1.7 GHz with 32 GB of DDR4 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and a dual-drive layout that pairs a 128 GB M.2 SSD with a 1 TB secondary SSD for fast boot and ample capacity.

Verify your dock and display needs

The chassis provides one USB Type-C port with DisplayPort alternate mode and optional Thunderbolt support plus three USB 3.1 Gen1 ports one of which features PowerShare. Video output also includes HDMI and VGA while wired networking uses a single RJ45 jack. Check that your existing monitors and peripherals match these connections before ordering.

Sustained workload thermal profile

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday visual tasks without a discrete GPU. Under continuous multi-threaded load the quad-core CPU can reach 3.6 GHz but the compact 0.9 inch profile and 4.19 lb weight limit cooling headroom so expect clock speeds to settle lower during long renders or heavy compilation sessions.
