Business-ready 14.0" Ultrabook

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a new 14.0-inch laptop built for professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro machine for daily office tasks. It runs on an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB SSD. The 1920 x 1080 IPS display provides clear visuals for documents and web apps. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles standard business graphics workloads.

Simple memory and storage access

The chassis allows straightforward upgrades to the DDR4 memory slots and the SSD bay using standard tools. Users can expand the 8 GB up to a 32 GB maximum and swap the 128 GB drive for a larger unit. The 3.1 Gen1 USB Type-C port supports DisplayPort output for external monitors. No soldered memory or proprietary drive formats complicate future changes.

Steady output during long work sessions

The U-series processor maintains its base 1.7 GHz clock across extended workloads without thermal throttling in typical office environments. Integrated graphics share system memory but deliver consistent frame rates for video playback and light creative tasks. The 4.19 lb chassis dissipates heat quietly during sustained spreadsheet, browser and video-conference use. Battery life supports a full day of mixed productivity away from mains power.
