Dell Latitude 5590 15.6" FHD Touchscreen

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen ultrabook built for professionals who need a durable notebook for daily office tasks. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 16 GB of DDR4 memory.

Dual SSD storage replaces single-drive setups

This configuration pairs a 128 GB M.2 drive with a 1 TB secondary SSD, removing the bottleneck of a lone mechanical drive. The jump is worth it when faster boot times and snappy application loads matter more than raw capacity alone.

16 GB RAM and dual drives handle multitasking

The memory comfortably runs multiple business applications and browser tabs together. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 runs out on modern 3D workloads or heavy video editing, so buyers needing discrete GPU performance should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What are the width and depth dimensions I need to clear for the 15.6 inch chassis?

The laptop measures 14.8 inches wide by 9.87 inches deep, so allow at least that much flat surface plus cable clearance at the rear ports.

Which screw must be removed first to reach the M.2 slot, and what size driver does it take?

Remove the single captive Phillips screw on the bottom cover centre, then lift the panel; a #0 Phillips driver fits the M.2 retention screw underneath.

Which user-replaceable parts will need attention after several years of daily use?

The 16 GB DDR4 memory and the 128 GB M.2 plus 1 TB secondary SSDs are socketed for easy swap; the internal battery is also field-replaceable.
