Dell Latitude 5590 15.6" Quad-Core Business Laptop

This new Dell Latitude 5590 is a 15.6 inch laptop built for professionals who need reliable mobile performance. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 32 GB DDR4 RAM. The dual-storage configuration pairs a 128 GB M.2 SSD with a 1 TB secondary SSD for fast boot times and ample file space. The 1920 x 1080 IPS non-touch display delivers clear visuals for office work.

User-Upgradable Memory and Storage Access

The chassis allows straightforward access to the RAM slots and drive bays for future upgrades or maintenance. Removing the base cover typically requires only a few screws and a plastic pry tool. Common issues include stripped screw heads from previous service and fragile ribbon cables near the battery connector that can tear if pulled. Take care when disconnecting the Wi-Fi antenna cables as the connectors are small and brittle.

Verify Display Size and Port Requirements Before

The product title lists a 15.6 inch screen while the specifications section records a 14.0 inch panel; confirm which physical size you need before ordering. Check that the available ports match your peripherals: the unit includes HDMI, VGA, USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A, USB Type-C with DisplayPort, RJ45, SD slot and an audio combo jack. Thunderbolt support over the Type-C port is noted as optional and may not be present on this specific unit.
