Built for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 15.6 inch touchscreen ultrabook running Windows 10 Pro. It combines an 8th generation quad-core Intel Core i5-8350U processor with 32GB of DDR4 memory. A dual-drive layout provides a 512GB M.2 primary SSD alongside a 2TB secondary SSD for extensive local storage. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 IPS panel.

Suits single-device workflows

This configuration serves users who need one machine for office applications, video calls and light content creation while travelling. The 14.0 inch chassis keeps weight to 4.19 lbs. Buyers who require discrete graphics performance for rendering or gaming should consider a different system. The single SODIMM layout also limits future memory expansion beyond the factory 32GB.

Dual SSD capacity decides fit

The defining specification is the combined 512GB plus 2TB solid-state arrangement. If your workload demands more than 2TB of fast local storage, this unit will not meet the requirement. If that total covers your active projects and archives, the storage subsystem is the reason to select this model.
