Dell Latitude 7490 Business Laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0 inch business laptop built around a 1.90GHz Intel Core i7 8th Gen quad-core processor. It ships with 16GB of memory and a 256GB SSD running Windows 10 Pro. The non-touch display offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution suited for office productivity and mobile professionals.

Memory Installation and Upgrade Limits

The system provides two memory slots with both currently available for expansion up to a maximum of 32GB supported capacity. Installation follows standard SODIMM procedures accessible through the service panel. The primary constraint is the two-slot ceiling, which prevents further expansion beyond 32GB without replacing existing modules.

Storage Capacity and Wireless Connectivity

The 256GB solid-state drive handles operating system, applications and active project files for typical business workloads. Users with large local media libraries or extensive virtual machine images will reach capacity quickly and require external storage. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11ac with Bluetooth 4.1 for peripheral pairing.

What accessories come in the box and what must I buy separately?

Should I choose the 256GB SSD version or upgrade to the 32GB memory configuration?
