Ready-to-use 14 inch business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 arrives with Windows 10 Home installed, an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor running at 1.9 GHz and 8 GB of DDR4 memory. A 512 GB M.2 SATA SSD provides the primary storage. The 14.0 inch non-touch display delivers a 1920 x 1080 FHD picture through integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy OS

This unit fits buyers who specifically require Windows 10 Home out of the box and a Thunderbolt 3 port for docks or external GPUs. The quad-core chip and 8 GB RAM handle office multitasking and video calls via the built-in webcam. Buyers who need more than 8 GB of memory, a dedicated graphics chip or a touchscreen should look at something else.

Quad-core i7-8650U with 8 MB cache

The processor runs at a 1.9 GHz base frequency and can reach 4.2 GHz on Turbo Boost across its four cores and eight threads. Its 8 MB smart cache keeps frequently used data close to the execution units. This CPU profile determines whether the laptop meets the performance envelope for the intended workload.
