Dell Latitude 7490 14-inch FHD laptop

This new 14.0-inch Dell Latitude 7490 runs Windows 10 Home on an Intel Core i7-8650U processor with 8GB DDR4 memory. It includes a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD and Intel UHD Graphics 620. The non-touch FHD display resolves at 1920 x 1080.

Suits mobile professionals needing Thunderbolt 3

The quad-core 1.9 GHz CPU with 4.2 GHz turbo supports office workloads and video calls via the integrated webcam. Wireless 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2 handle connectivity. Buyers who want a touchscreen, discrete graphics, or more than 8GB of memory should look elsewhere.

8GB soldered DDR4 limits multitasking headroom

The memory is not upgradeable, so the 8GB capacity fixes the maximum simultaneous workload. Thunderbolt 3 over USB-C provides high-speed peripheral expansion. Verify that 8GB meets your application requirements before purchase.
