Suits mobile professionals needing touch input

This laptop suits professionals who travel or present to clients and want a responsive touchscreen. The HDMI port and USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 connection support external displays and peripherals. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics card for 3D work or gaming should look elsewhere. Users requiring more internal storage capacity will need a different model.

Quad-core i7-8650U with integrated UHD 620

The Intel Core i7-8650U provides four cores and eight threads at 1.9GHz with 8MB cache. Graphics are handled by integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620. Questions about this item

How do I install the M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD and what step do people miss?

The 256GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD is already fitted from the factory. No installation is required; the step people miss is trying to open the chassis to add a drive that is already present.

What maintenance will the 16GB DDR4 memory need later?

The 16GB DDR4 is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be upgraded. Maintenance is limited to keeping the cooling vents clear so the memory controller stays within thermal limits.

At what point does the Intel UHD Graphics 620 hit its limit under sustained load?

The Intel UHD Graphics 620 shares system memory and 15W processor power budget; under sustained 3D or video-encode workloads it throttles once the CPU package reaches its thermal ceiling.
