Compact business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0-inch laptop built for professionals who need a portable Windows 10 Pro machine. It combines an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 16 GB of memory and a 1 TB SSD for responsive everyday performance. The 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display and integrated graphics handle standard office tasks and video calls.

Suited for mobile office work.

This configuration suits mobile workers, remote employees and students who value a light 1.4 kg chassis and all-day battery potential for documents, web apps and conferencing. Buyers who need discrete graphics power for 3D rendering, video editing or gaming should look at a different class of machine. The integrated graphics and fixed 16 GB memory also limit intensive multitasking scenarios.

1 TB SSD capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 1 TB solid-state drive, which provides ample space for operating system, applications and local files without relying on cloud storage. If your workflow demands multiple terabytes of local project data, this capacity may fall short.
